Discover Nieuwvliet, a charming village located on the coast of Zeelandic Flanders. Whether you like walking, horseback riding or just the beach, Nieuwvliet has something for everyone. In addition to beautiful beaches, this village also offers fun activities and attractions. Walk through the atmospheric streets and admire the characteristic houses. For the active ones there is a 2.5 kilometer walking route and a special equestrian route. Children can have a great time at Pierewiet Play Farm, where they can play both indoors and outdoors. In the historic center of Nieuwvliet-Dorp you will find nice shops for clothing and souvenirs. Feeling peckish? Enjoy delicious pizzas and pastas at Piazza Italian Kitchen or experience the cozy atmosphere at Grand Café Restaurant Nieuwvliet. For a refined dining experience, Chez Pierre Bistro is the perfect choice. You should not miss the beach of Nieuwvliet-Bad. From this accommodation you are also on the sand within a few minutes. For nature lovers, Sluis is also a fantastic choice. With the beach of Cadzand within reach, it is the ideal place to blow out or enjoy the sun. But there is more, such as the Verdronken Zwarte Polder, a beautiful nature reserve that is well worth a visit. And for bird lovers there is Het Zwin Nature Park, where you can spot unique bird species.
Breskens has a large marina as well as a fishing port. The large seagoing vessels that sail on the Western Scheldt bring fresh fish ashore every week. You really have to taste this fresh catch! At the Kaai, near the harbor, you will find delicious fish restaurants, such as De Kluiver. Here you can enjoy a fantastic lunch or dinner, and in good weather you can enjoy an extensive wine list or a refreshing cold beer on the terrace. But also directly in the harbor you can get acquainted with the fresh, smoked, boiled or fried fish from one of the many fish sellers. Breskens also offers numerous activities. Visit the Fisheries Museum, for example, and learn more about the sea, fishermen and the special catches of fossils, shells and other sea treasures. You can also admire sharks, seahorses, flatfish and more in the aquarium. And if you want to go from Zeelandic Flanders to Walcheren without the long car ride? Then take the Western Scheldt Ferry. With nice weather it is wonderful to stay on the deck, and inside you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Welcome to this tastefully decorated holiday home. The living room, with its playful layout, offers not one, but two seating areas. On one side you can enjoy a cozy movie night, while the other corner, with a cozy stove, is the perfect place to get lost in your favorite book. The seating area by the television is equipped with a cozy corner sofa and a coffee table. On the other side of the ground floor is the second seating area, here is also a spacious sofa and there are two separate armchairs. Thanks to the large windows you can enjoy a beautiful view of the garden in both areas.
The kitchen, the heart of the house, connects all living spaces with each other. Here you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal: a hob, combi microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator with freezer compartment. For your coffee or tea moments, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle are available. Opposite the kitchen is a spacious dining area with seating for six people, thanks to the large sliding door you can also enjoy the view of the garden here.
On the ground floor you will also find a bathroom, complete with double sink, walk-in shower with rain shower, extra storage space and a toilet. You can dry towels on the designer radiator.
The bedroom on the ground floor offers a magnificent view of the garden from the double bed (180x200cm). You can even step directly from your bed through the sliding door into the garden. Next to the bed you will find bedside tables with bed lighting and a spacious wardrobe. There is also a desk for those who want to work undisturbed.
The other two bedrooms are reached via the open staircase in the living room. The first bedroom has a double bed (180x200cm) with bed lighting on both sides and there are various cupboards where you can store all your luggage. The second bedroom has a unique look & feel due to the high sloping roof and the skylights in it. The room is furnished with a nautical touch and has a single bed (90x200cm), and a single bed (80x200cm) with the possibility to create an extra sleeping place by sliding out the bed, there are storage bins for brought items and a cabinet to store some luggage if necessary. On the first floor there is also a second bathroom with a wonderful bathtub with the possibility to shower (shower wall present), also a double sink with sufficient storage space and a second toilet.
The garden (1200m2) is an oasis of peace. You enter the garden through the sliding doors on two sides in the living room from where you step directly onto one of the two terraces: one terrace (10m2) offers a spacious dining table with seating for six people and a parasol, while the other terrace (15m2) is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and a large parasol. The rest of the garden is provided with grass, various shrubs and trees, relax chairs and two sun loungers, and is fully fenced for extra privacy.
In the hallway on the ground floor you will find a vacuum cleaner and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. There is also a separate toilet, bringing the total to three toilets in the house. For the little ones there is a foldable cot (60x120cm), a high chair and some toys (games). Unfortunately, pets cannot come along. Any brought or rented bicycles can be stored dry under the carport, and there are two parking spaces on site. If you come with more cars, there is a grass field further down the street for extra parking.
Other
- There is daily arrival, except on Sundays. Weekly rentals apply during the holidays.
- You have to pay the bill in advance.
- Check-in is possible from 4 p.m. On departure day you have to leave the house at 9.30 am, after which you hand in the key at the location where you collected it.
- Babycots that may be present do not have bed linen. Please bring this yourself.
- In almost all cases, bed linen and towels are provided. In your booking you can see if this is the case.
- You must register overnight visitors and only after approval these visitors may spend the night. Of course against payment of bed linen and tourist tax.
- Pets are sometimes allowed, this is mentioned in the property info. Please get informed about this option. As the owner you are responsible for your dog. Do not disturb other guests or neighbors.
- Youth groups are not allowed.
- Business bookings on request.
